AL DAMAN UAE VALUE FUND
Launched on July 1, 2001, the Daman UAE Value Fund was a closed-ended, UAE-focused mutual fund that was the first mutual fund to distribute regular quarterly dividends in the UAE.
Retired on June 30, 2006, the Daman UAE Value Fund closed within 5 years of operation at an ex-dividend NAV of AED 273.84 per share.
In addition, the fund paid out a total of AED 100 per unit, which gave an all in return of 373.84% over the life of the fund. This amounts to a compound annual growth rate of 30.2% pa over the life of the fund.
